Concurrency is the limit that produces the worst customer experience when you hit it, because the failure is immediate and audible: the caller gets your busy behaviour instead of your agent.

A Concurrency Pack adds ten reserved simultaneous conversations to your subscription. Reserved means exactly that — the capacity is held for you rather than drawn from a shared burst pool, so behaviour at your busiest minute matches behaviour at your quietest.

Packs are billed monthly alongside your subscription and can be removed at the end of any billing period, which makes it practical to scale up for a season and back down again afterwards.

Questions

Why is this not needed on Enterprise?
Enterprise concurrency is unmetered and bounded only by the infrastructure you provision, so there is no licence ceiling to lift.
How do I know how many packs I need?
The dashboard reports peak concurrency per hour against your current ceiling. If you are touching the ceiling more than a handful of times a week, one pack is usually the right first step.
Does adding a pack also add minutes?
No. Concurrency and minutes are separate dimensions. If your volume is also growing, add a Voice Minutes Pack as well.
